Forming part of a multi-disciplinary team in the planning of a new shopping centre and residential development. Curro Delft

Facilitating the land use application process, including SDP approval and amendment of conditions, the facilitate the development of a new Curro private school in Delft. The school is based on a new concept being rolled out by Curro, known as Digi-Ed Schools, and is based on providing quality tutoring facilities on a digital platform, thereby reducing the school fees significantly to make it more affordable for especially previously disadvantaged communities.

A mixed-use development within the Durbanville Secondary CBD area. The area is currently in a transition phase from single residential to higher density residential and mixed-use. The development provides office space, residential units and on-site parking. ARoux Town Planning was appointed to undertake the planning process including the submission of an application for rezoning, departures and removal of restrictions, an application to Heritage Western Cape, consultation with the local community and input into the design of the development.

A project for the City of Cape Town, ARoux Town Planning was appointed as the town planning consultant as part of a multi-disciplinary project team. The project entailed the rezoning, subdivision and approval of site development plan application processes to facilitate the development of two new IRT bus depots for the Khayelitsha and Mitchells Plain IRT lines respectively. Key responsibilities include planning input into the preparation of the site development plans, compilation of motivation documentation, submission and facilitation of land use application process, facilitating public participation and general planning consultation.
